MAN PUSH CART is
an internationally acclaimed, independent
film by Noruz
Films which tells the story of Ahmad, a former Pakistani
rock singer who now makes a living selling coffee and donuts to
morning commuters from his metal push cart in Midtown Manhattan.
The film follows the lead character's mundane, daily routine as he pulls his cart through the city streets. Little by little
the audience gets glimpses into Ahmad's past and eventually a
picture is painted that uncovers where he came from and where he
is going. A movie about hope, loss and the trials of a foreigner in a
post 9/11 America.
This movie has attended Film festivals such as Sundance, Seattle
and London and is the winner of numerous awards, (Best Actor,
Audience Award, Best First Film, etc.)
The event is followed by a private after-party at Madame
X lounge, right around the corner from the theater. Here
